"The works of J.R.R. Tolkien have inspired every one of us, mostly in ways we aren't even aware of. Each member of the Ancanar cast & crew has dedicated the last year and half of their lives to living up to that inspiration. But of course Tolkien was just a guide to this world; as Peter S. Beagle wrote, "the world he charts was there long before him." Middle-Earth was around before the great Professor came to it, just as Ancanar began his search long before we decided to depict it.
