А выложу-ка я здесь свою сборную коллекцию разных мелочей, не вошедших ни в какие в дисковые издания саундтреков к ВК, включая расширенные. Сразу предупрежу, что это будет интересно только супер-упёртым фанатам, общее количество "новой" музыки - зачастую всего 10-20 секунд на трек, хотя есть и совсем новые композиции.

1. Prologue One Ring to Rule Them All (Alternate) (4:04) - film material at 2:00 and 3:18 that was microedited out of the Complete Recordings, restored using DVD Menus. Total amount of new music: ~15 sec.
2. Prologue One Ring to Rule Them All (Theatrical) (1:02) - theatrical edit of Isildur's death, found on the DVD menus. Total amount of new music: ~5 sec.
3. Concerning Hobbits (Theatrical) (2:58) - theatrical version of the edit, has an element on 0:45 that differs from the OST version. Found in the Extended Edition Fan Club credits. Total amount of new music: ~5 sec.
4. Farewell Dear Bilbo (Alternate) (1:40) - alternate version without Ian Holm's vocals, found on the EE DVD. Total amount of new music: ~10 sec.
5. The Shadow of the Past (Theatrical) (4:30) - alternate material at 0:59, found on the EE DVD. Film material at 2:44 that was microedited out of the Complete Recordings, restored using The Third Age video game files. Total amount of new music: ~15 sec.
6. A Conspiracy Unmasked (Theatrical & Alternate) (2:34) - alternate material at 0:50, found on DVD menus. Film material at 2:22 not present on the Complete Recordings, found on EE DVD. Total amount of new music: ~30 sec.
7. Balin's Tomb (Alternate) (2:39) - three small portions of film material were microedited out of the Complete Recordings, restored using The Two Towers and The Return of the King video game files. Total amount of new music: ~20 sec.
8. A Journey in the Dark (Alternate) - alternate moment at 2:02 of drums without the other instruments. Found in the Extended Edition Fan Club credits. Can be heard during shots laters edited from the film in the Cannes Presentation Reel. Total amount of new music: ~5 sec.
9. Khazad-dûm (Theatrical) (5:42) - three small portions of film material at 2:01, 3:43 and 4:17 were microedited out of the Complete Recordings, restored using The Two Towers video game files. Total amount of new music: ~20 sec.
10. The Mirror of Galadriel (Theatrical) (2:49) - extended opening, found on the DVD Menus. Total amount of new music: ~15 sec.
11. Parth Galen (Theatrical Version) (2:35) - choir restored at 0:55 and 2:10, using video game files. Total amount of new music: ~45 sec.
12. The Breaking of the Fellowship (NZSO Alternate) (8:02) - an alternate version, recorded for an earlier edit of the film's edit by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra in March 2001, intended but not included in the Cannes presentation. Found in the Extended Edition Fan Club credits. Total amount of new music: ~8 min.
13. Gandalf the White (Alternate) (2:55) - the original version of Gandalf the White's first appearance, replaced by "Gandalf the White (in Nature)" in the film. Found in the Extended Edition Fan Club credits. Total amount of new music: ~25 sec.
14. Edoras (Theatrical) (1:17) - film version of Edoras' apperance, different from both OST and Complete Recordings. Found on the DVD menus. Total amount of new music: ~10 sec.
15. The Forests of Ithilien (Theatrical) (0:21) - theatrical edit of Faramir's appearance, found in The Return of the King video game files. Total amount of new music: ~5 sec.
16. Théoden Rides Forth (Alternate) (2:08) - an alternate version without the choir at 0:43, different brass at 0:47, and without Ben Del Maestro at 1:15. Found in the Extended Edition Fan Club credits. Total amount of new music: ~35 sec.
17. Roots and Beginnings (Alternate) (1:35) - alternate opening. Found on the Rarities Track 22 "In Conversation Pt. 1", cleaned of dialogue. Total amount of new music: ~30 sec.
18. Return to Edoras (Theatrical) (1:08) - theatrical edit without Saruman's death, found in The Battle for Middle-Earth II video game files. Total amount of new music: ~10 sec.
19. Flight From Edoras (Theatrical) (1:44) - theatrical edit, found in The Battle for Middle-Earth II video game files. Total amount of new music: ~5 sec.
20. The Grace of Undomiel (Alternate) (3:17) - unused material for Arwen dropping the book at 1:37, found in the Live to Projection symphony. Total amount of new music: ~15 sec.

23. Asëa Aranion (Alternate) (2:15) - an alternate song for the Houses of Healing by Sissel, also found on the Complete Recordings Disc 3 Track 13. Here, it follows an alternate material for Pippin finding Merry, as it would have in the film. Found in the Extended Edition Fan Club credits. Total amount of new music: ~45 sec.
24. The Tower of Cirith Ungol (Theatrical) (0:41) - theatrical edit without the uruk escaping with the mithril vest, found in The Battle for Middle-Earth II video game files. Total amount of new music: ~5 sec.
25. The Last Debate (Theatrical) (1:12) - theatrical edit without the Palantir, found in The Battle for Middle-Earth II video game files. Total amount of new music: ~20 sec.
26. Frodo's Song (Alternate) (2:27) - music originally intended for the end credits, this version is later than the one released as Track 20 on the Rarities Archive. Found on the Bonus DVD included with the Limited Edition OST and the Rarities Track 23 "In Conversation Pt. 2", cleaned of dialogue. Total amount of new music: ~1 min, 35 sec.
27. Into the West (Acoustic Version) (4:35) - alternate accoustic version by Annie Lennox, released on the US-only Promo.
28. Use Well the Days (3:07) - unused end credits by Annie Lennox, found on the Bonus DVD included with the Limited Edition OST.
